15 mins waiting, asked to move to cater for a party of 6, babies crying in the back ground, strict father telling the young one off…is this what happens when u eat as a party of 1!
Anyway… I wait patiently to be seated. I wait patiently while the host points to me again and again just to make sure I am indeed only a party of 1! “oh hang on” now her manager’s apart of the process and screams to his host while pointing to me, “she’s the party for 1?!” YES, thank u !!! I am the party for 1- do u have a P R O B L E M? I get seated, place my mag down - the table’s reserved great - time to get my food!
Drink… check! Main… check! Ok, return to my table.
“oh excuse me, do u mind if u move to another table so I can sit a party of 6, I will join ur table to the next?” a waitress asks… Ah…how bout NO! “how come?” she asks “We have a great table for u over there against the corner” W H A T!!! Hell no! I’m a paying customer too! I waited for this table, bad luck, u stuffed up, deal with it. It’s not my problem! I return…
Put my ear phones in, listen to music and enjoy my dinner for a party of 1!

Throb bing headache!
The day before my sweetness goes away to Beijing and the poor thing has to work. Populating the database with all the right trades and static data hoping it will be ready for his demo on Wednesday… WHAT…what did i just say?! :D Yeah, thought i lost you…. Anyway his working right now and its 8:30pm Singa time… so i thought i’d do my mind dump for Monday.
Don’t have too much to say, apart from i have a throbbing head ache!
People in Singapore tend to work heaps longer and that seems to be the norm. Its not strange for employees to come in at 8/ 8:30am and not leave til about 8 / 8:30pm, sometimes even 9 / 9:30pm. And when your corresponding with LND, then count your days long every day! I’m not complaining - I’m thankful that i even have a J.O.B! its just something different! And hopefully i’ll learn to put into practice the proverbial ‘work life balance’… what ever that is?!
Any who…It’s great friends are loving the app ‘Instagram’. Really gives photos an artist flare! Shout out to QuiteQuaint and AnEnsemble for particularly loving the app!
I know there has to be something better than what we do day in day out… the question is W H A T I S I T ?

So there’s this app i stumbled across for my oh so very addictive iPhone 4 called, ‘Instagram’ and have discovered these rustic ways to capture the moment! I must say it brings out any artist in hiding… Try it out, its pretty cool and gives your photos are nice little twist.
Its Saturday morning here in Singapore and i’m all ready for my Skype date with my very good friend Berns! Although i have one small problem… She hasn’t come online yet?! The date was for 9:30am and still nothing (now 10:00am). Hmmm… Where are you BB?!
Plans for today - find a winter coat for Timmy - his xmas present! At least it eliminates the thinking, searching, thinking some more and then finally buying the xmas present this year. You ask, a winter coat for Singapore?! Well, his off to Beijing next week. Yep that’s right, i’ve got the apart. all to myself for two nights! woot woot! PART-A time! …. hardly!
Oh and that’s right we’re off to a BBQ around the corner from where we live later today, lets hope we find some decent future friends.
